Install the extension
Works in Chromium browsers — Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Arc. Log in to Facebook in the same browser profile, with Facebook set to English.
The Chrome Web Store listing is on its way. Until then, install it directly with the steps below.
Read this before you install
Facebook's terms restrict third-party tools that act on your account, and Facebook may warn, limit, temporarily block or disable accounts that take many actions quickly. That's Facebook's call, not ours, and you accept that risk by using this extension.
Keep removal runs small (10–20 people), spread them over several days, and stop for a few days if Facebook shows an "action blocked" warning. Unfriending is permanent — the extension can't undo it.
Step 1
Unzip it
Extract the downloaded file into a folder you'll keep — the browser loads it from there.
Step 2
Turn on Developer mode
Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions) and switch on Developer mode in the top-right corner.
Step 3
Load unpacked
Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder. Pin the icon to your toolbar.
Step 4
Sign in
Click the icon and choose Sign in. A tab opens here; sign in or create a free account and it connects automatically.
First run
- Click the toolbar icon → Open dashboard.
- 1 · Scan friends — a Facebook tab opens and loads your list. Leave it alone until the on-page overlay says it's done.
- 2 · Scan friend dates — reads your Activity Log for the real date you became friends with each person.
- 3 · Scan engagement — pick how far back to look (up to a month on Free, a year on Pro). This is the slow step.
- Sort by least engaged, protect the keepers, tick the rest and click Remove selected.
